Crowns and Bridges
Dental Crown
A dental crown is a custom made artificial cap that will be placed over a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape, strength, and appearance. It covers the entire visible part of the tooth above the gum line and helps protect the tooth from further damage.
Dental crowns are commonly used to restore broken teeth, protect teeth after root canal treatment, support large fillings, or improve the appearance of a tooth. They can be made from materials such as porcelain, ceramic, metal, or a combination of these.

Dental Bridge
Dental bridges provide an alternative treatment option to dental implants and dentures to fill a gap created by a missing tooth (or teeth). Depending on the dental bridge type you choose, the procedure and cost will vary. When compared to dental implants, dental bridges are considered a cost effective tooth replacement option.
A dental bridge is usually made up of one or two dental crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap which are attached to a false tooth (pontic) in between. Natural teeth, dental implants or a combination of both can be used to support the bridge.

Dental crowns are recommended for patients who need to restore the strength, function, or appearance of a damaged tooth. You may need a dental crown if you have:
- A damaged or weakened tooth (cracked, worn, or large filling)

- A discolored or misshapen tooth they want to improve
- A dental implant that needs a crown on top
