Dr. Saw Woon Ling

Dr. Saw Woon Ling obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya in 2008. She had served in both public and private hospitals/clinics as a general dental practitioner for 8 years while she obtained her membership with the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Subsequently, she received her 3-year full-time specialist training in periodontology and implantology and graduated with a Master of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2019. In the same year, she obtained her fellowship in Periodontology from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh through a conjoint program with the National University of Singapore.

Dr. Saw then became a registered specialist with the National Specialist Registrar (Malaysia) as a certified periodontist in 2023 (Specialist Registration Number: PER0045)

Dr. Saw is also an existing member of the Malaysian Society of Periodontology and the International Team For Implantology (ITI). Throughout her career as a periodontist, Dr. Saw has dedicated her clinical practice to treating patients with various gum conditions and performing a wide range of dental surgeries, encompassing guided bone regeneration, dental implant placements, tissue regenerative surgeries, and soft tissue procedures.

Besides her professional practices and activism, Dr. Saw is also contributing to various community work in Singapore. She serves at Southview Primary School (Singapore) as the School Advisory Committee. She also serves the community as the Grassroot leader.
