Dr. Lim Kiat Lin

Dr. Lim Kiat Lin is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics dental specialist in Malaysia. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya in 2008. Her inspiration since her undergraduate year has been to help patients regain their confidence by restoring their smiles and oral functions. Henceforth, she pursued her passion and received her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics from the National University of Singapore in 2015. In the same year, she became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M Pros RCSEd).

Dr. Lim has been actively contributing to the body of science through research. During her undergraduate year, her research emerged as the first prize at the 6th Scientific Meeting of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Malaysian Section (South-East Asia Division). She then represented Malaysia to take part in the Scientific Research Competition of the 34th Asia-Pacific Dental Student Association Congress. Her postgraduate thesis was also presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting of IADR (Southeast Asia Division) in Bali and subsequently published in an international peer-reviewed journal.

A strong advocate of her profession, Dr. Lim has played an active role in the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA). She was elected as Honorary treasurer of MDA Southern Zone from 2010-2012 and Honorary Secretary of MDA Southern Zone in 2017. She returned in 2015 after her postgraduate studies in Singapore. She was dedicated to serving the dental community as a Malaysian Dental Council Member. In 2023, she was elected as a Committee Member to review the Doctorate Prosthodontics Program at the University of Malaya. She is also a member of the Dental Specialist Sub Committee.
